The school is looking for an HLTA with the potential of a permanent position. The successful HLTA will be confident and adaptable in working Key Stage 1/KS1 and Key stage 2/KS2 helping and nurturing pupils and giving them 1 to 1 support. The applicant would also have to be well equipped to deal with challenging behaviours.

The successful HLTA will have the following:

• HLTA qualified: Level 4
• Experience working with pupils with SLD, PMLD, complex needs and physical disabilities
• A calm, patient, and caring personality
• A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
• Experience in working with supporting students in their education on a 1:1 and a small group basis
• Excellent classroom management
