Your new school
This OFSTED rated ‘good’ school, which offers a broad curriculum to students from years 7 to 13 is providing an innovative and inclusive school environment, encouraging all students to excel in their subjects. The school holds a particularly good reputation for its sixth form and the subjects it offers students, ranging from traditional subjects to vocational subjects, opening further opportunities for students.
The school is located within 2 miles of Wolverhampton city centre, making it easily accessible by both car and public transport, with the nearest bus stop a 5-minute walk from the school.
Due to the interim, the school requires History cover for the term. Starting in January.
Your new role
This would be a full-time role 5 days a week, acting on a temporary basis. The role would require an experienced history teacher who is able to deliver engaging to help the students’ progress towards their goals and help reach their full potential, whilst furthering your experience and developing your teacher skills.
As well as delivering history lessons, you would also be required to keep track of students’ progress and provide a positive environment, whilst also engaging with other faculty members to maintain standards within the school.
What you’ll need to succeed
Do you have a passion for work and are you looking for an exciting new role within a Wolverhampton school preparing and delivering history lessons to students in years 7 to 11?
If you possess a QTS or QTLS or you have just completed your PGCE and have previous experience teaching history within a Secondary Education environment, this may be the role for you.
