Tradewind is working with a highly inclusive Secondary school who are looking to appoint a HLTA to start as soon as the schools reopen! With a focus on literacy this is a great opportunity to join a fantastic school in a role on a fixed term contract with a view to a permanent appointment for July 2021.
Located in Welwyn Garden City, just half an hour from London this inclusive School has a reputation for helping all students achieve to the best of their ability. Following a recent renovation and offering superb facilities this a great teaching and learning environment. Class sizes are up to 30 however the successful HLTA will mainly be working on with groups of 5-12 and various pupils on a 1-2-1 basis to ensure all children get the one to one time they need to reach their potential.
As a HLTA at this school you will work with and support other TA’s and work across a range of year groups so a confident HLTA who is able to develop people is essential.
Essential requirements for this HLTA post
Hold the Level 4 HLTA qualification
Have recent experience working as a TA/LSA
Have energy, commitment and creativity
Be able to engage well with colleagues, children and their parents
Have a positive attitude
Be available and willing to commit for the academic year 2020/21
