As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our school’s mission to provide high-quality education. The successful candidate must hold a minimum of a Level 4 qualification or above in Teacher Assistance and possess the skills and experience necessary to cover classes effectively. This includes the ability to independently plan interventions and deliver classes, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Class Cover:

   • Provide effective cover for classes when required, ensuring a seamless continuation of learning.
   • Uphold the high standards of teaching and classroom management expected within the school.

2. Intervention Groups:

   • Take charge of intervention groups to support students with specific needs.
   • Implement targeted strategies to facilitate student progress and achievement.

3. Independent Planning:

   • Demonstrate the ability to independently plan interventions that align with curriculum objectives and student needs.
   • Prepare engaging and differentiated materials to enhance the learning experience.

4. Collaboration:

   • Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
   • Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to uphold our school motto.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Level 4 or above qualification in Teacher Assistance.
• Proven experience covering classes and leading intervention groups.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
