In this role, you will take the next step of your career and gain valuable insights from seasoned educators. The school is centrally based and easy to reach by car or public transport.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach some classes unassisted, especially when teachers are ill or on leave.
• Plan and deliver learning and enrichment activities, either with teachers or independently.
• Work with small groups of students or individuals needing special attention.
• Develop specialist curricula in areas of interest.
• Assess students progress and discuss development with teachers, parents, and carers.

Requirements:

• Computer literacy, including confidence in incorporating computers into classroom lessons.
• Verbal and written communication, including active listening, for effective classroom instruction and understanding students needs.
• Interpersonal skills, including etiquette and social awareness, for working with students and teachers.
• Understanding of the expectations of the EYFS or relevant curricula (KS1, KS2), marking criteria, and ideal learning outcomes.
• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification required.
