Classroom Teachers are looking to recruit a teacher for a particular home tuition role.

You have the opportunity to help the progression of pupils who are unable to get the most out of a school setting. The student you will be working with requires a patient, caring and resilient teacher due to the nature of their needs.

Our requirement for teachers/tutors in this field is constant as tuition roles come in all throughout the academic year.

You will:

Work on a 1:1 basis for up to 15 hours a week with this student. You will help the student develop their academic learning covering basic Maths, English and Science. You will also help with their life skills and confidence building. This student has dyslexia so we are looking for someone with experience in this field to be able to accommodate.

Teachers have to complete their own PPA (planning, preparation, assessment) and complete a report of progress which is to be submitted every half term.

All work is to be completed within the school day hours and only runs during term time. The tuition can either take place at the home/local library or online.

It is possible to take on 2 students a day (3 hours both in the AM and PM) making the position full time if that suits.

Candidate requirements:

You must currently hold a teaching qualification (QTS) and be eligible to teach in the UK. You must have experience of working with students in this environment or at least worked with students with different needs.

Resilience, confidence and a caring disposition are characteristics the ideal candidate will possess.

You will hold an enhanced DBS that is on the update service, or be willing to process a new one through Classroom Teachers (we add no extra administration fee).

We pay £150 for a successful recommendation of a qualified teacher (with QTS) or £50 for a successful recommendation of any experienced education workers. Payment will be made after the worker has worked a FULL 20 days through Classroom Teachers.
