My client is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead our Human Resources operations. Reporting to the Headteacher, this leadership role involves strategic HR management, policy development, recruitment, HR reporting and employee relations. You will provide essential support and guidance across the school, ensuring effective HR practices and compliance with safeguarding policies.Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership and management of the onsite HR team
• Providing informed advice on staffing matters, employee relations, and legal compliance to line managers
• HR planning to include workforce planning, reward, retention and recognition initiatives
• Developing and executing the performance management process.
• Overseeing HR processes, record management, and GDPR compliance.
• Managing department budgets and reporting on a wide range of HR metrics

Whilst experience of working within a similar role in schools may have its advantages, applications are sought from all appropriately qualified CIPD HR professionals, with experience of both team management as well as implementing new initiatives and policies. The role will be based on site when school is open for teaching, with hybrid working available during school holidays.
