ICT Teacher Needed in BR2 Full Time

Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for a QTS English Teacher to join an “Ofsted Good” SEN school in Bromley who specialise in children with SLD, PMLD and Additional Complex Needs. The position will be full-time (Monday – Friday) and starts immediately. The school have exceptional facilites and a holisitc ethos, catering for sailing, horse riding and music technology.

Daily Rate: Paid to scale

Location: Bromley

Contract Type: Long Term

Start Date: Immediate

Duration: Full -Time (Monday – Friday)

The successful applicants will have:

• Previous experience working with people with learning disabilities, Autistic Spectrum Disorder and/or Physical, Mental, Sensory Impairments
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Ability to effectively communicate with students, staff and parents/careers
• Excellent literacy, numeracy & ICT skills
• Hold an Enhanced Child & Adult barred list DBS Certificate

The role will consist of:

• Offering support to the class teacher
• Provide support for individuals and groups of pupils, ensuring their safety and access to learning activities
• Assisting with the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans
• Building good student – teacher rapport
• Support aspects of personal and intimate care
