Great locationREESON Education are recruiting on behalf of a successful 2 form entry School in the London Borough of Wandsworth. The school are looking to recruit an experienced educator to work as an Intervention Teacher within KS2 for initially 1 term, with the possibility of extension for the right candidate.
As an Intervention Teacher, you will be working with various small groups of Year 6 children, helping to bridge the learning gap in core subjects such as Literacy and Maths. You will be responsible for planning activities as well as monitoring and assessing progress and liaising regularly with SLT and class teachers.
An ability to build good rapport with pupils will be essential in order to be successful in this role. You must also be able to work well independently as well as part of a team.
This role would be perfect for an experienced educator who is confident in their curriculum knowledge and wanting to take a step back from full class teaching.
