Intervention Teacher – Brighton
Prospero Teaching are working alongside this modest primary school in Brighton, who are recruiting for a part time Intervention Teacher from September 2021.
We have an exciting role on offer, one that will give you the chance to work with some exceptional children and truly and positively impact their educational journey. This role will be over 3 days per week and you’ll be working on a one to one basis with highlighted children who require additional support in their learning. Predominantly working with pupils in Key Stage 1, you’ll need to have a solid understanding of the curriculum, and be committed to enhancing their understanding when it comes to literacy and numeracy. Supply Teacher Experience, Training and Qualifications
It is essential that you have QTS and experience working in a Primary School
You will need to have taught in KS1 or KS2 either in a permanent or supply cover role, or on teaching placement if you are an NQT.
Up to date Safeguarding training is imperative; you can undertake a free course with Prospero Teaching if you have not completed a Safeguarding course in the last 12 months.
Strong Behaviour Management skills are a must.
To be eligible for any teaching job with Prospero Teaching, you must;
Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with online update service or be willing to process a new application.
Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
Provide two professional child related references.
