£28,000 – £36,500 per annum (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role

A Primary School situated in Newcastle are looking for a KS1 Teacher, commencing in February 2024 until the end of the academic year. The successful applicant will be teaching in a Year 2 class, consisting of 30 pupils, all working at varying levels. Knowledge of Read, Write, Inc Phonics would be beneficial for the role, although not essential. This is a full-time, long-term role with potential to turn permanent.

Requirements

The desired Teacher will have:

• Experience of teaching within KS1.
• Knowledge of Read, Write, Inc Phonics.
• An ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• The ability to plan and deliver differentiated learning.
