KS2 Teaching Assistant

£379.60 – £406.25 per week

Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Key Stage 2 TA to work in a local primary school in Bristol on a full-time basis starting in January 2024.

About the role

The successful TA will be able to build a positive relationship with an individual and provide specialist support in a classroom setting to cater for the special educational needs and disabilities of the child. This is a highly rewarding career that requires a flexible approach, creativity and excellent communication in order to engage the pupil with their learning. The ideal Teaching Assistant will be patient, enthusiastic, resilient and motivated to promote the child s progress.

The Ofsted rated Good school in North Bristol serves a diverse community and is dedicated in creating a nurturing environment for students and staff. The school has a rich and stimulating curriculum including hosting performing arts events and craft activities. The school has excellent indoor and outdoor facilities to enhance children s learning and experience. The school is looking for a caring, committed and creative SEND TA who has a positive attitude when supporting children with learning. The ideal TA would have experience working within Key Stage 2 and would be able to apply their skills to the role.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of KS2 TA you will:

• Be a motivated, dedicated and resilient person
• Support children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
• Have a passion for helping children make progress in their learning
• Ideally hold a driving licence and have access to your own vehicle

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

• to have an Enhanced DBS that is on the update service (child workforce or child and adult workforce)
