A large primary school with an excellent reputation in Nottingham is seeking to appoint a Year 5 and Year 6 teacher to start work in January. The post is initially for one school term, with the potential of leading to a longer term contract for the right Year 5 and Year 6 teacher.

The Head Teacher is looking for someone with excellent classroom management, who teaches with an enthusiastic and nurturing approach and has high expectations of learning. It is essential that you have good working knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum and that you have experience of planning and delivering quality learning experiences for pupils.

In return, the Year 6 teacher will have the opportunity to work with a fantastic team in a welcoming environment.

Applicants need to have:

• QTS/ Qualified Teacher Status with Year 5 and Year 6 experience (those without a QTS/ Qualified Teacher Status are encouraged to apply)
• A real desire to make a positive difference to the pupils that you work with
• The ability to manage the class and deal with challenging behaviour
• Confidence with SATS preparation
