Winner Education are proud to working with a mainstream middle school in Worcester who are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant in their KS2 team. The position will be starting in September 2021 and will become a permanent placement after 12 weeks. The middle school is easily accessible from Worcester, Kidderminster, Bromsgrove and Redditch. Due to the local of the school, driving is essential.
Experience working with SEN children is desirable, however, you will receive full support from the school’s SENCO.
The successful Teaching Assistant will:
Hold a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
Support the Class Teacher effectively
Monitor and evaluate pupil’s progress and assist with the assessment of pupil’s
Have up to date knowledge of the National Curriculum
Have had experience working within upper Key Stage 2 previously (desirable)
Have good and effective behaviour management skills
Have previous experience supporting children at primary aged (essential)
Work on your own initiative and as part of a team
Have experience working with SEND children (desirable)
