KS3 SEN Teacher – South East London – September Start!

A ‘Good’ SEN School in Greenwich are looking for a SEN Teacher to lead their KS3 Cohort from September but there is the option to become familiar with the school during the Summer Term. This SEMH school looks after pupils with needs including Autism, ADHD and Genetic Disorders. Your class of 8 Pupils will be from Year 7 and Year 8, all of which are working to KS3 Level delivered via a Primary-based Structure. You will have the in-class support of a TA along with one-to-one Support for pupils who need additional attention.

• You will ideally be a resilient SEN Teacher who has experience in teaching at Secondary Level. Teachers with SEN experience in Primary are also warmly welcomed to apply.
• You will preferably have a background with working with SEMH and associated needs including Autism and ADHD
• Taking a genuine interest in your pupils and delivering engaging, creative lessons.
• Collaborating with Support Staff to create a safe and nurturing learning environment

Person Specification – SEN Teacher

• Experience supporting pupils by delivering differentiated, creative curriculum
• Must hold UK QTS and have experience developing pupils with Special and Additional Needs
• Experience liaising with support staff and collaborating with Head of Key Stage
• Scope for wider responsibility as the school expands this year
