Teaching Personnel

Teaching Personnel are recruiting a learning support assistant who specialises in English to work at a school in the Horney area of north Lodon. The position will initially be temporary with the opportunity to go permanent after the end of the academic year should the person be successful. The educator will transition onto a full school based contract and be employed by them rather than Teaching Personnel.

The role will be supporting a pupil who suffers from special educational needs in a classroom environment. The pupil will especially need help with their basic English skills such as writing, reading, and spelling. The learning support assistant will sit in lessons with the individual across a range of subjects, making sure their needs are met. The pupil will also need to support the pupil outside of lessons, making sure they are making friends and getting on effectively with their peers.

The role

• Working as a Learning Support Assistant in a classroom environment.
• Payments work on a Pay as you earn basis, with payments being made a week in arrears.
• The school is based in Hornsey (north London)
• Start date ASAP

To commute to the school there are public transport links which go directly to the school fom surronding area’s. To drive to the school, there are motorway and main roads which go close to the school and there is a free on site staff car park which can be used.
