One of our partnership schools based in South Manchester are looking for a Learning support Assistant to join their team and support children from the ages of 11-18 with complex and severe learning needs.

This role has an immediate start date.

In this role as a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

• Support in the delivery of activities and learning under the supervision of the class teacher
• Create a safe and fun learning environment for children to achieve their full potential
• Manage potentially challenging behaviour associated with the needs of SEN children.

The school are looking for a Learning support Assistant with:

• Experience of working with children with SEN
• A kind and patient personality
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with personal care or moving and handling (desirable)
