Speech and Language specialist learning support assistant- Widnes Primary Academy
The supply Register are looking for a speech and language confident learning support assistant/teaching assistants to support a Child in Y2 who is: Non-verbal, Autistic, needs personal care at times, quite challenging behaviour, quite active.
The role is starting as soon as possible subject to a successful trial day and has no end date in sight, meaning very long term for the right person, with a potential permanent role down the line.
The role is working, Monday-Friday 8:30-3:30 during term time.
The right person for this role will be someone that has strong experience, good knowledge and a genuine passion for supporting Children with Autism, additional needs and an active personality. The right person should have a nurturing personality, good at building strong relationships and techniques to support with social and academic growth alongside Speech and Language.
Requirements-
Experience supporting Children mainstream or with additional needs in an educational or similar setting within the last 3 years.
Always ensuring safeguarding is kept to a high standard.
The ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
To care about your work and do the best for your students.
