Learning Support Assistant

Join a large secondary school in South Manchester seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant on a full-time basis until the end of the academic year.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will work with students across Years 7-11 in a variety of subject areas, either on a 1-1 basis or in small groups. They will support students with Special Educational Needs to provide encouragement and to support them in their academic progress.

This role is ideal for experienced Teaching Assistants/Learning Support Assistants or Graduates looing to gain experience before commencing Teacher Training in 2021. The success candidate will extend their experience working with young people and will support in lessons to observe a range of teaching styles and techniques.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
