The School and Role
This Primary and Secondary SEND Alternative Provision, based in Ashington is looking to appoint a passionate Learning Support Assistant to work in either Key Stage 1 and 2 or 3 and 4 classes on a full-time basis. Working in this Primary and Secondary SEND Alternative Provision as part of an established team, the desired Learning Support Assistant will be working on a small class sized basis with pupils with SEND including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) and challenging behaviour. This full time Learning Support Assistant role is long term from January ongoing with the possibility of a permanent vacancy for the right person. The successful Learning Support Assistant will inspire, support and motivate pupils who have been removed from mainstream education. A can-do attitude, a flexible approach and a willingness to take part is a must.
As a Learning Support Assistant you will:
