Learning Support Assistant – Southwark

  • Help the main teacher with lesson planning and activities within the classroom.
  • To work with small groups or individual students on specific tasks.
  • Pay attention to students moods etc, and conduct a report when necessary for parents and staff.
  • Help students understand instructions and communicate effectively.
  • Assist teachers in planning learning activities, preparing learning materials, completing records, and carrying out administrative tasks.

What the school is looking for:

  • Have a DBS or be willing to get one ( 46).
  • Be a team player and also be able to work independently.
  • Passionate about supporting children in their development.
  • Be able to work under the direction of the Class Teacher to support pupil.
  • Candidate should be able to be extremely patient.
