Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans and support strategies for Key Stage 2 students.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students during lessons and activities.

  • Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to ensure effective communication and coordination of support.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or a similar role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathy and understanding towards the diverse needs of Key Stage 2 students.
  • Flexibility to adapt to different educational settings within the Hornchurch area.
  • Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo one.
