Learning support assistant required in Newham for an immediate start!

We are looking for a LSA to work on a one-one and group basis in a school in Newham you would cover a 12pm to 12:30pm lunch duty and then look after two different pupils through out the afternoon who require support.

This is a long-term position that has an immediate start date. The working hours for the role are 12pm to 3:30pm

Job responsibilities:

In this role, your main responsibilities will be:

• Providing a safe learning environment for the pupil(s)
• Using creative methods to keep the pupil(s) engaged and to enhance their learning experience
• Helping them learn through play, both indoor and outdoor activities

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience working within schools, preferably as a Learning Support Assistant
• A calm demeanour and the ability to interact with pupils who have different abilities
• Flexibility to work as directed by the class teacher
