An opportunity has arisen for a Lecturer in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics / PLC), to join our Engineering department based at our multi-million pound Twelve Quays Campus. The post holder will assist in the development, organisation and management of high quality teaching, learning and assessment in this area.

The successful applicant will hold a recognised subject specific degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering (Electrical / Electronics / PLCs). You will also have a full understanding of all aspects of the field of engineering qualifications, underpinned by relevant industrial experience. A teaching qualification or being fully committed to work towards gaining a relevant teaching qualification is essential. You will posses an assessor qualification or will be prepared to undertake and gain within 2 years of appointment.

The post will involve working 35 hours per week and will be based at our Twelve Quays Campus in Birkenhead, Wirral. The successful applicant will be able to join the Teachers’ Pension Scheme as well as receive the College’s generous holiday entitlement.
