Teaching is a thoroughly rewarding and respected career. We are looking for an experienced dog grooming professional to train students studying at level 2 and 3. We are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic person to be part of a team delivering innovative, high standard, sessions to full and part time dog grooming students. You will be confident to demonstrate and deliver practical skills training to enable students to pass their practical exams.
The successful candidate needs to have achieved a City & Guilds Level 3 Dog grooming qualification and have relevant and recent experience working in the dog grooming industry. Experience of teaching within Further Education is preferred, but not essential. You must also have a Level 5 teaching qualification (e.g. Diploma in Education/DTLLS/Cert Ed/PGCE) or equivalent or be willing to obtain one within the first 3 years of employment. You must hold a Level 2 English and Maths (GCSE A*-C/9-4) or equivalent or be willing to obtain within 18 months of employment.
