Level 3 Primary Teaching Assistant Location: Salford, Greater Manchester Start date: January 2023 – April 2023 (opportunity to be extended to July) Salary: £375-£450 per week Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm Year Group: Year 4 Job Specification We are looking for a Level 3 teaching assistant for a role within a good (Ofsted) two-form entry Primary School in Salford, Greater Manchester (M5). You will be responsible for: – Helping the pupils remain focused in class – Helping the teacher to manage pupil behaviour – Helping to get the classroom ready for when the pupils arrive and clearing away afterwards The successful candidate will be somebody who is: Able to build strong relationships with pupils Flexible Able to communicate effectively Capable of managing behaviour effectively A qualified teaching assistant Experienced at working with children in lower key stage 2 About the school – Staff are successful at ensuring pupils achieve their best They have ensured that the curriculum at every level is well planned The inspirational headteacher is relentless in her drive to ensure that all pupils achieve their best – Teachers use assessment strategies well to establish what the children understand Contains approximately 550 children Teaching Assistant Summary The school is looking for a teaching assistant who is confident in their ability to engage with and inspire pupils to achieve their best.
