Supply Desk are currently recruiting on the behalf of a Secondary School in Chichester who are looking to recruit a Maths Teacher to start ASAP. This will be a temporary position (looking to go permanent) where you will be teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4 in a secondary school that was graded Good in all areas in their latest Ofsted inspection.
Overview:
Supply Desk are currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a Secondary School based in the Chichester area on a long-term contract with the possibility of a permanent contract. The role would be starting in ASAP on a long-term contract. The successful candidate will be teaching Maths to students in KS3 and KS4, working in a supportive department. The School will consider non-specialist Maths teachers for this role with experience teaching Maths in Secondary Schools.

The School is a mixed Secondary School based in Chichester for students aged from 11 to 16 years with around 1000 students in total. The School comes with a Good reputation and has a supportive SLT that cares deeply for the Schools values. The school also has free parking onsite.

– Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
– Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.

– Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a collaborative learning community.
Requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
– Degree in Mathematics or related field.
– Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.
– Experience working with secondary school students is desirable but not essential.
