We have an exciting opportunity for a Maths Teacher in a Respected Liverpool High School who is looking for a teacher on a temp to perm basis. You will be able to bring elements of fun into the classrooms and make learning an enjoyable experience.

Requirements

• Committed to safeguarding the welfare of young people
• Satisfactory enhanced DBS disclosure
• Training, Experience and Qualifications
• Graduate with Qualified Teacher Status or PGCE
• Experience of successful teaching as evidenced by adding value to student achievements
• Knowledge and Understanding
• Have a thorough working knowledge of the curriculum as it relates to this subject
• Promotes literacy through lesson planning and delivery
• Professional Skills and Abilities
• Demonstrate excellent classroom practice
• Relate to and motivate students
• Have commitment to raising standards and achievement of all students
• Possess good behaviour management strategies
• Uses assessment levels to plan lessons
• Knowledge of examination syllabus requirements in specialist subject(s) at KS4 and KS5
• Understand how ICT can be used to enhance students’ learning

The school is within a 10 minute walk of the nearest station and has onsite parking for all staff.

The hours are Monday- Friday 8.30am- 3.30pm term time
