The school is looking to secure an outstanding Maths Teacher to come and work in their thriving and successful department. This boy’s school is based in the London Borough of Islington. There are two schools within the foundation with the other school being a girl’s school, and they work closely together.

With the school being an outstanding school, they work with to a level of excellence which is tried and tested. They strive to deliver highest standards of education to its students whilst ensuring the teachers have all the resources to succeed in doing so.

As a Maths Teacher, you will need to be passionate about maths, have a strong understanding of the UK maths curriculum and have a strong academic/teaching background.

The successful candidate will be delivering both KS3 & KS4 Maths to mixed ability classes of up to 30 students and therefore, you will need to be innovative with your lesson plans to meet the needs of all the students.

The school has 995+ pupils on role with the numbers growing year on year. The school has strong GCSE Maths results because their students have a genuine interest in Maths. The pupils approach the lesson with an open mind and ready to obtain all the information from you, the Maths Teacher.

The successful Maths Teacher will need to be available from April 2021, hold QTS and be able to use their creative lesson planning to enhance student engagement.
