Maths Teaching Assistant – Fareham
Prospero Teaching are working with an excellent mixed Secondary School, located in Fareham.
The School are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to start in January 2004, on a full time basis.
You will be supporting students specifically within their Maths lessons, both on a 1:1 and in small groups. Maths at GCSE level and a keen interest in the subject is highly desirable.
This is a highly rewarding role. The School are looking for individuals that are supportive, non-judgemental, patient, easy to talk to, positive and flexible. You must be able to speak to pupils in a manner which encourages and supports them, enabling you to build trusting relationships.
Previous experience of working with young people is desirable, but not essential. A team player with patience, understanding and a willingness to develop is required.
This role is ideal for graduates and aspiring teachers, looking to gain more experience prior to applying for teacher training. The School have also appointed Support Workers, with care experience.
