Role: MediaTechnician Location: WandsworthHours: Mon- Fri 9 til 5 Salary: Up to £18 per hourDuration: Temporary Reed Further Education are proud to be appointed as the Managed Service Provider for the South Thames College Group and REED are supplying all staffing for across the whole college group. The South Thames Colleges Group is made up of Kingston College, South Thames College, Carshalton College and Merton College, which merged in 2017.The South Thames College Group are currently seeking a Media Technician on a temporary basis.
The role:
- To manage and maintain a multi-camera TV studio, sound booth, control room and edit suites
- Assist students with their learning and understanding of production equipment
- Assist the lecturer in delivering the lessons when necessary
What a successful Student Duty Manager will need:
- Experience of working with young people in a school or College setting
- Experience using film and production equipment
- Level 2 qualification or equivalent to demonstrate good literacy and numeracy
- Level 3 qualification in Media/Film
