What you will be doing
You will join an inclusive, supportive team that works well together to provide care to people with neurological conditions. Whether you have experience as a Healthcare Assistant or Care Worker, you will use your knowledge and skills to help support people lead a valued and fulfilled life.
As part of your role as a Healthcare Assistant you will be involved with supporting day-to-day life of the service users, which will include help to get dressed, washing and bathing (personal hygiene), motivation, shopping, meal preparation, medication, medical appointments, laundry, light cleaning and social activities.
It can be quite a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important. But it is hugely rewarding to see people improve; being able to do something today that they couldn’t do last week because of you.
The shift patterns include weekends with 4, 8 and 12 hours a day-shifts available, 3-4 days a week. We offer flexible working too.
Where you will be working
Location: Bosbury, Hereford, Herefordshire,HR8 1HB
You will be working at Stanley House, a service which offers a multidisciplinary approach to its long term care provision and provides the specialised care and expert therapeutic interventions.
Working as part of the multidisciplinary team, you will support and enable residents to undergo reviews of their specific and/or changing needs. Stanley House offers therapies and activities which include Physiotherapy and Art therapy and receives input from a Professor in Neuropsychiatry and monthly specialist GP clinics.

Annual salary from £27,339 – £27,885 (dependant on experience)
Hourly rate of £14.02 to £14.30 per hour
