The minimum experience, training or qualifications needed for this position are GCSE English and Maths (A*-C or 9 -4) as a minimum. You must have relevant experience in an educational setting. A qualification such as Level 2 teaching assistant would be preferred but not essential.The role As a Classroom Assistant, working in Early Years, you should be confident with learning through play and phonics. We are seeking a candidate who can effectively support around 17 – 19 pupils. You should be comfortable working 1:1 and with small groups and should be able to successfully communicate with the Classroom Teacher pupil’s progress. It is expected that you are approachable and calm in your nature to ensure you meet children’s social and emotional needs.The school You will be working in a collaborative environment where children are able to grow and feel supported. This school has an ‘outstanding’ rating from their most recent Ofsted report and pride themselves with their ethos of respect, resilience, and responsibility. This school has accessible public transport links and is also close to the A6.Requirements To be considered for the Teaching Assistant position, you will need as a minimum:
