A leading foreign bank in Central London is looking for a Risk Officer who will be responsible for the regular assessment and management of every risk faced by the Bank.

You will be providing key support in the management of operational and conduct risk.

The Role:

The Risk Officer will ensure the business has a comprehensive and accurate view of its risks by providing guidance, support and assurance to management that the business and support functions are identifying, assessing, managing, and reporting its risks adequately and accurately.

You will also ensure that business and operations comply with the relevant frameworks, policies, and regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities:

? Developing an effective Operational Risk Management Framework.
? Developing key operational risk management processes focusing on Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), Key Risk Indicator (KRI), Incident Management System (IMS), Issue Management & Action Tracking (IMAT), Risk Event Report (RER) including Immediate Notifiable Event (INE), and Risk Scenarios.
? Facilitating the risk incident management process, undertake risk incident reviews, and investigate the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to assist in the development and completion of risk mitigation strategies.
? Collaborating with First Line of Defence (business and operations) in implementing and embedding the ORMF and ORMF key processes across the organisation.
? Supporting the First Line of Defence in conducting third party risk assessment on periodic basis and risk owners in the management of risk events occurring within own risk portfolio.
? Identifying and driving continuous improvement in the management of operational risk.

This includes but not limited to supporting the Risk Manager and team in oversight of Third Party Risk Management (TPRM)
