Working 15 hours a week across 2 days a week, you will join the team at Brighton & Hove Clinic; a specialist CAMHS school for young people aged 11-18 with mental health conditions, including eating disorders.
You will plan, develop and deliver the humanities curriculum, which will see you provide pastoral care to a small tutor group. The curriculum will include a variety of subjects, from history, science and geography to religious studies and citizenship.
As a Humanities Teacher, you will provide a clear structure to lessons, which will see you implement clear learning objectives, where you specify how they will be taught and assessed. You will monitor and evaluate student progress through a range of assessment strategies against pre-determined learning objectives.
Working with Occupational Therapist, Psychologist and parents, you will create one-to-one rapport with service users, you will develop programmes and goals for children based on their progression, and will encourage engagement and empower recovery.
