About the Role:

• Position: Part-Time Teacher of History
• Age Range: 11-16 year olds
• Start Date: September 2024 (or as soon as possible)
• Contract Type: Part-Time – 0.5FTE

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and informative History lessons to students aged 11-16.
• Plan and prepare lessons that cater to a diverse range of learning needs.
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and success.
• Assess and provide constructive feedback on student progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the wider academic and pastoral development of students.

Requirements:

• A degree in History or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching History at secondary level (11-16 year olds).
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for History education.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
