If you are seeing more negative news being cast about young people today this is a chance to make a difference.
We are looking for experienced candidates with track records of positive behaviour approach. People with experience with SEMH and counselling Welfare will be sought after for this role. The school is based in Lambeth supporting pupils with SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health). We are looking for a dynamic and adaptable experienced Mentor, that will be able to support pupils daily in and out of the classroom. Some of the pupils you will be supporting will have various SEND needs, experience of supporting different needs would be desirable but not essential. You will play a key role in supporting the pupils with communication, learning, and independence, in a safe and inclusive environment to help their development.
Due to the pandemic, a lot of people suffered including students who need that additional help. Compassion and structure are key to supporting students who have not adapted quite well.
It is key that the right candidate can commit to a full-time Monday-Friday role. As it helps the students, they are working on building a better relationship.
