GSL Education s South Yorkshire Branch is seeking enthusiastic people to join our client school as a Physical Education (PE) Teacher. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience and support students in their progress.

Job Summary: The PE Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality physical education instruction to students, fostering a positive and inclusive environment that promotes physical fitness, teamwork, and personal development. This role involves planning and implementing engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and contributing to the overall school ethos by encouraging a healthy and active lifestyle.

PE Teacher Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and varied PE lessons across Key Stages insert relevant key stages .
• Develop and implement innovative physical education programs that cater to all ability levels.
• Encourage student participation in a range of sports and physical activities, promoting teamwork, perseverance, and personal growth.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate physical education with other subjects and school initiatives.
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment that celebrates achievement and encourages a lifelong love of fitness.

The Essential Requirements for Successful PE Teacher:

• Qualified PE Teacher with QTS or PGCE
• Proven experience in delivering high-quality PE lessons in a school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and current best practices in physical education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
• A proactive and creative approach to teaching, with a commitment to promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyles.
