Post 16 Learning Support Assistant
£65 – £70 per day
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum amount of experience required for this position is 4 weeks supporting young people or adults.
Working as part of an energetic and creative team, the successful Post 16 Learning Support Assistant will focus on delivering support to young people during their academic studies providing advice and guidance. This position will be a supply based role working between Monday and Friday.
The Learning Support Assistant will work alongside dedicated staff within secondary schools, colleges and higher education providers.
The successful candidate will ideally have Team Teach Training however this is not essential. If applicants are successful there is an opportunity for you to attend the Team Teach training course that Vision for Education provides.
To be considered for the Post 16 Learning Support Assistant position, you will:
Have experience supporting children and young people in small groups.
Have experience working with children and young people in an academic setting
Be patient and have a caring nature.
