Your new company
Hays Education are currently looking for a teacher who can work part-time in a primary school situated in North Birmingham. Ward End Primary School is a larger than average, Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’ school. Teachers have high expectations for the behaviour of pupils, pupils respond accordingly. They are calm, polite and helpful in and around the school.
Your new role
The school are recruiting for a part-time (Monday-Thursday) PPA/ECT cover teacher to work in year 5 and 6. As a PPA teacher, you will be responsible for delivering lessons to cover the absence of class teachers. You will work closely with the class teachers and ensure any lessons taught are marked and feedback is provided to class teachers.
This role will commence immediately and is until Easter 2024.
What you’ll need to succeed
In order to be successful in securing this position, you must possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience in primary schools. You will have the ability to build an excellent rapport with pupils, staff, parents and carers. You must have a good understanding of the National Curriculum and be able to adapt quickly.
In addition to this, we will require two satisfactory references.
