Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced and dedicated Year 6 Teacher to work in one of our Primary Schools in Wallsend on a full-time and long-term basis to start after October half-term.

The role will involve planning and delivering lessons with the support of Teaching Assistants within lessons. The role will be based with a mixed ability class so a key part of the role will be to differentiate learning activities appropriately to ensure all pupils make excellent progress and are taught in a way that is suited to their individual needs and learning styles.

This role will involve:
Planning and teaching engaging and informative lessons pupils that inspires Year 6 pupils and allows them all to make progress.
Building positive relationships with pupils and Teaching Assistants to create excellent learning environments.
Managing challenging behaviour in a positive, proactive and consistent manner
Differentiating lessons appropriately to suit the needs and earning styles of all pupils.
Displaying high levels of enthusiasm, energy and positivity when working with children.
Working effectively with Teaching Assistants to ensure children receive the best possible educational experience.

This role requires:
An Enhanced DBS (ideally on the Update Service but this is not essential as we can process a new one for you)
QTS
Strong subject knowledge
A positive and resilient attitude towards Teaching and work
Experience of Teaching within the UK
A genuine passion for Teaching young people to fulfil their potential and flourish in education.
Strong organisation and communication skills
A commitment to CPD
