A primary school in Erdington is seeking to appoint a qualified teacher to start work within the new school term. The pupils, governors, parents and senior leaders are looking for a dedicated, fun loving, enthusiastic class teacher to join the team.
Schools are looking for someone who is looking to gain more experience within teaching, who teaches with an enthusiastic and nurturing approach and has high expectations of learning.

Applicants need to have:
6 months experience working within a school
Qualified teacher status
A real desire to make a positive difference to the pupils that you work with
Good behaviour management skills
Confident with SATS preparation
A Clean DBS

Hours vary between schools but are usually from 8.30am until 3.30 or 4pm. Most teachers are in school before the school day starts and remain after school is finished.
Unless your first degree is a Bachelor of Education (BEd) or a BA/BSc with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), it is essential to gain QTS or, in Scotland, to have achieved the Standard for Provisional Registration (SPR), or be a fully-registered teacher in order to teach in the maintained/local authority sector.
A , or in Scotland a Professional Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) – available at many universities, colleges of higher education and teacher training led by schools (except Scotland).
