As a Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist with our NHS client in North London, you will be a vital part of our team. You will work collaboratively with a dedicated team to provide urgent psychiatric assessments, interventions, and support to children and adolescents in crisis. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring timely and effective care for young individuals facing acute mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct urgent psychiatric assessments and risk assessments for children and adolescents.
• Develop and implement crisis intervention and treatment plans tailored to the needs of young patients.
• Work closely with the team to provide intensive support to young individuals at home or in the community.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for children and adolescents in crisis.
• Provide crisis resolution and stabilisation services for young individuals in distress.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Qualifications:

• GMC registration and a license to practice as a Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist.
• Proven experience in child and adolescent psychiatric crisis care and home treatment.
• Exceptional communication and crisis management skills, with a focus on youth mental health.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of NHS policies and procedures is an advantage.
