Are you passionate about working with different communities and producing engaging events that capture the imagination?
We’re looking for an experienced communicator who can plan, lead and deliver our public engagement activities and events that connect the University of Surrey with our local communities. This role will also work with partner universities to deliver engaging and innovative events for an exciting science project led by Professor Jim Al-Khalili for the Templeton Foundation.
The successful candidate will have a real passion and energy for public engagement and have significant experience of organising and delivering events that translate the complex into entertaining and engaging content and experiences for members of the public. You will have strong relationship building skills and have experience of communicating with different audience groups, directly and through communication channels such as social media, website content and compelling stories. With strong leadership skills and integrity, the ability to devise and implement influencing plans, to inspire and bring together different teams, you will play a pivotal role enhancing the University’s reputation.
