Prospero Teaching is seeking to recruit a Public Services Teacher/Lecturer for an exceptional Sixth Form College based in Haringey, on a part time basis to start ASAP.

• 0.4 (2 days) Public Services Teacher, teaching Levels 1 to 3
• Likely to be Thursday and Friday

This post will focus on preparing learners to enter training for a Public Services career and will require the ability to prepare, plan and deliver high quality lessons.

Ideally you should have a Public Services background or have experience of teaching a range of public service units at different levels of learning to include higher education, access to higher education and outdoor activities.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent (to be offered supply teaching work)
• Previous experience working in a UK school would be ideal
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Be willing to register with Prospero Teaching and complete all required vetting checks
• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references
