Falkland House School are looking for a Pupil Support Worker to join their amazing team.
Falkland House School is expanding, and we now operate across two sites. Our older established provision in Falkland is an independent residential and day school for boys from primary to aged 18 years old. Our provision in Perth is focussed on co-education with a strong emphasis on throughcare provision into positive outcomes including college courses and employment. All our students have a range of additional support needs; primarily Autistic Spectrum Disorder and can access a mainstream curriculum.

About the role
As a Pupil Support Assistant (PSA), you will work as part of an education team supporting pupils and young people who have additional support needs to access learning under the direction of other members of the team.
Pupils and Young People can have a range of needs that are short lived or more long term, requiring them to need additional support. The PSA role is varied and may include supporting pupils and young people who present with needs which may include:
Some pupils may present with distressed and challenging behaviour as a result of these needs the PSA may have a role in supporting positive behaviour management programmes and individual support plans.
