Our Purchase Ledger clerk is leaving and we are seeking an experienced and well-organised member of staff to run the Purchase Ledger. Felsted School’s Finance Department has a team of eight and we are looking for someone who is friendly, personable and approachable with a ‘can do’ approach. The main duties of the role will be processing and coding purchase invoices, ensuring prompt payments, reconciliation, remittance and liaising with budget holders and suppliers.
It is essential that the successful person has prior experience of running a purchase ledger and worked in a similar role within a busy environment. You should be able to communicate effectively, have close attention to detail, with good analytical, interpersonal and problem-solving abilities. We welcome applications from those who have any AAT qualifications or experience in using the Finance systems WCBS PASS or Lightyear.

This role is a permanent position working full-time (Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm), all-year round with a salary from £23,500 to £26,250 per annum (depending on skills, knowledge and experience).
