Position Overview:

Our client school are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Reception Class Teacher to join their team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in sculpting the early educational experiences of our youngest learners, fostering a love for learning, and ensuring a seamless transition into formal schooling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, deliver, and assess engaging, age-appropriate lessons for Reception students.
• Cultivate a positive, inclusive classroom environment that nurtures curiosity, creativity, and independent thinking.
• Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, nurturing the overall well-being of the class.
• Implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, tailoring activities to cater to diverse individual needs.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and support staff, ensuring a holistic approach to student development.
• Regularly assess and document student progress, offering constructive feedback to parents and adjusting teaching strategies accordingly.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
• Demonstrate proven experience in teaching within Reception or Early Years settings.
• Possess a strong grasp of the EYFS framework and a commitment to its principles.
• Showcase excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse student needs.
