Reception Classroom TA Full Time

Empowering Learning are pleased to be representing a mainstream primary school in the Tamworth area who are looking for a TA to cover in a Reception class. The position will be to start April and the position is to cover a long term sickness with a permanent member of staff.

The school is one form entry, and the required TA will have a positive attitude and passion for helping children achieve. There may be situations where the role will be one to one based but most of the role will be in the classroom.

The school is rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted in its last inspection and is striving to reach ‘Outstanding’ with the dedication and hard work of the staff. The Teachers and Teaching Assistants are a close-knit team so the preferred candidate should have a friendly and ‘team-player’ attitude.

What you’ll need to succeed

Level 3 TA qualification preferably
Be passionate about supporting pupils to achieve their full potential and be enthusiastic in your approach
To be supportive, positive and caring
Driving is not essential but is desirable.
