SANZA?Teaching Agency are currently supporting a lovely mainstream 2-form entry primary school in Harrow. They are recruiting a teaching assistant who can work in the early years (reception), as well as deliver adhoc PE lessons (when/as required).

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the teaching and learning of children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), as well as delivering adhoc PE lessons across the school, from reception to year 6.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Requirements of the role:

• Assisting the class teacher in preparing and delivering lessons in the EYFS
• Planning and running PE lessons on an adhoc basis from reception to year 6
• Supporting children with their learning and development
• Providing feedback to the class teacher on children’s progress
• Preparing learning resources and materials
• Working with children on a 1:1 and small group basis

About you:

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience working in a primary school, preferably in the EYFS
• A good understanding of the EYFS curriculum
• Experience with sport/PE/coaching
• The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
